This year’s Baker Lecturer, Dr. Gregory Postma, has had a long association with our President, Dr. Blake Simpson. It began when both were selected for laryngology fellowship training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 1995.This relationship has continued during the past 25 years. Dr. Postma’s professional career began shortly afterwards when he accepted a position at Wake Forest Medical Center. He currently serves as a Professor and Vice Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the Medical College of Georgia of Augusta University and has been the Director of the Center for Voice, Airway and Swallowing Disorders since 2005.
Dr. Postma’s lecture is entitled,”Mentoring in a Changing World”.
