CALL FOR GRANT PROPOSALS

The American Laryngological Association (ALA) is offering three research grants for the Academic Year 2026-27

The deadline for Letters of Intent is December 1, 2025 and should be submitted to our Administrator, Maxine Cunningham.

ALA/ALVRE RESEARCH GRANT:

The purpose of this grant is to support basic, translational, or clinical research project in laryngology, voice, outcomes, and related subjects.

Amount: $15,000.00 Maximum.
Term: 12 months, non-renewable.

ALA – SEYMOUR R. COHEN RESEARCH GRANT:

The purpose of this grant is to support basic science or translational research project in the area of laryngology or neurolaryngology with relevance to the pediatric population.

Amount: $15,000.00 maximum.
Term: 12 months, non-renewable.

Junior faculty members and laryngology fellows submitting research proposals with good scientific potential for future NIH funding are particularly encouraged to apply.

ALA – POST-GRADUATE MEMBER RESEARCH GRANT: 

The purpose of this grant is to support basic, translational, or clinical research in laryngology by a Post Graduate Member of the ALA. The Principal Investigator must be a current Post-Graduate Member in good standing at the time the proposal is submitted.

Amount: $15,000.00 maximum.
Term: 12 months, non-renewable.
