The Department of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at the University at Buffalo is undergoing an exciting period of strategic growth under the leadership of Dr. Troy D. Woodard, Immediate Past President of the American Academy of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS). We are making significant investments in faculty recruitment, subspecialty program development, resident education, research, and clinical expansion, and we are seeking a fellowship-trained or fellowship-eligible Laryngologist to help build and grow a multidisciplinary Voice, Airway, and Swallowing Program within a rapidly expanding tertiary referral network serving Western New York.

Competitive Compensation
- Base Salary: $450,000–$550,000
- Uncapped wRVU Productivity Bonus

Clinical Practice
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care for patients with benign and malignant laryngeal disorders, professional voice disorders, airway stenosis and complex airway disease, dysphagia, and swallowing disorders. The practice includes office-based laryngology procedures and advanced endoscopic laryngeal surgery and is supported by close collaboration with Head & Neck Surgery, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Speech-Language Pathology, Thoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, and other multidisciplinary specialties.

Faculty members play an integral role in educating residents and medical students through clinical teaching, operative instruction, mentorship, lectures, and Grand Rounds.
