The Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Section of Laryngology & Voice Disorders, at Mayo Clinic in Arizona is seeking a fellowship trained board-certified/board-eligible laryngologist to join one other laryngologist, in a busy tertiary care practice. The department staff includes 9 Otolaryngologists with 2 PhD’s covering all aspects of Otolaryngology, in addition to 2 residents per year with a team of physician assistants, speech therapists and nurses. Within laryngology, master’s level speech language pathologists as well as a PhD are involved in care of voice, swallowing, and head and neck cancer related voice disorders.
The successful candidate will be board-certified or board-eligible in Otorhinolaryngology, with fellowship training in Laryngology. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in all three areas of laryngology – voice, airway, and swallowing disorders. The candidate should be capable of managing the full gamut of clinical and surgical laryngology disorders. A strong collaborative interest in multidisciplinary clinical research and teaching will be expected as well.
