Submit Abstract

ABSTRACTS FOR THE 2023 ANNUAL MEETING ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED.  THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE WILL BE OCTOBER 31, 2022.

ABSTRACT PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

Thank you for  preparing to submit an abstract to the American Laryngological Association.  The following information will assist you in the submission process and information on our special awards.  When submitting an abstract for podium or poster consideration for the ALA 2023 Annual Meeting, please review the instructions, Abstract Form Instructions. You should complete all requested contact information, including the degree, of each co-author.

If you wish to be considered for one of the Special Awards (Resident Research Award, Young Faculty/Practitioner Award, Dr. Eugene N. Myers International Award in Laryngology, or the Casselberry Award), please review the description of each award to ascertain the first and/or senior author’s eligibility before checking the appropriate box. Should you request your abstract to be considered for the Casselberry Award, one (1) copy of the manuscript must be submitted via email to the Administrator, Maxine Cunningham, by December 15, 2022. The email address is maxine.c@comcast.net.

Once  your abstract has been accepted for podium or poster presentation, you will receive instructions requiring you to submit your manuscript to The Laryngoscope, the ALA Editor, Dr. Kost, and the Administrator.  It is vital that you adhere to the deadlines as stated in your notification letter for.

Thank you for considering submitting an abstract for the 2023 Annual Meeting. Unfortunately, the deadline for abstract submission was October 31, 2022 with a grace period to November 2, 2022. Please consider submitting for our 2024 Annual Meeting.
